Dr. Ajmal Niazi, a well-known journalist, columnist, poet, and thinker, passed in Lahore on Sunday night after a long illness. He was 75 years old and was from the Mianwali district’s Moosa Khel town.
He wrote various publications, including a biography of late Pakistan movement leader and experienced writer Hameed Nizami. For almost three decades, he was well-known in literary circles for his poetry and his weekly satirical-cumpolitical column titled “Bay Niaziyan” in a national Urdu daily.
