Addressing the Asma Jahangir Conference in Lahore, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Sunday set upon at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and called it a “tool to convert people into turncoats”. He laid bare the details of his grievances against the watchdog and held it blameworthy for a caravan of maladies inflicted on the country. Those who impose taxes on the people of Pakistan should give details of their assets and answer for their lifestyles, he added.
