Brussels: On Dec 21, the European Commission announced that it would make the European Union COVID-19 certificate valid for travel nine months after the completion of the primary vaccination list. The proposal was announced after several EU states enlisted additional requirements on travelers in an overture to lessen the sweep of the Omicron coronavirus variant.
