Konya: The current scenario of the Turkish economy has clarified that President Tayyip Erdogan is losing popularity among his supporters. Konya, which enjoyed economic prosperity in the early years of the Erdogan era, has been knocked by the blow in the lira, twisting inflation, and a business recession. These misfortunes may cause trouble for Erdogan and transform the next elections which are due in mid-2023, into the toughest test of his two decades in power.
