At least eight Palestinians were shot and killed while waiting for aid in Rafah, the Wafa news agency reported, attributing the shooting to Israeli forces. “Eight hungry civilians were killed as a result of Israeli forces opening fire on people waiting for food aid,” Wafa said on Monday. The incident took place near an aid distribution centre and is the latest in a series of similar killings.
