Egypt’s El Sisi praises Qatar’s ‘wisdom’ after Iran strike

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi commended Qatar’s leadership and military capabilities during a phone call with Emir Sheikh Tamim on Tuesday. Mr El Sisi praised Qatar’s “wisdom in managing the crisis” following the recent Iranian missile attack on Al Udeid Airbase and highlighted the effectiveness of Qatar’s air defence systems in countering the assault. Mr El Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s “complete rejection of any violation of Qatar’s sovereignty” and expressed solidarity with the Gulf nation.
