Liverpool’s Egyptian football star Mohamed Sala made a donation to the people of Gaza. The Egyptian Red Crescent thanked him “from the heart”. It did not disclose the donation amount. Salah had faced some criticism for remaining silent on the Israel-Hamas conflict.
