Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Tuesday condemned Israeli plans to confiscate the headquarters of UNRWA in Jerusalem and build a settlement on the land. In a phone call with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock, Mr Abdelatty berated Israel’s repeated attempts to stop UNRWA’s activities supporting Palestinian refugees and the “systematic campaign” it is waging against the agency.
