Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdelatty said Egypt and Qatar are coordinating daily to reduce escalation and strengthen diplomacy across the region, Al Jazeera reported. Speaking alongside his Qatari counterpart, he stressed the importance of respecting international law on maritime navigation. Abdelatty condemned Iranian attacks on Qatar and other Gulf states as violations of national sovereignty. He added that Qatar’s security, along with that of other Gulf countries, remains an integral part of Egypt’s national and broader Arab security.
