According to sources, Dr. Aamir Liaquat has resigned from the National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Karachi.

He announced his resignation from the National Assembly in a post on the social networking site Twitter, as well as his best wishes for Prime Minister Imran Khan and the party.

Dr. Amir Liaquat had already stated that he would resign from the Assembly in January 2020.

Where should I go to address my difficulties, he said? I want to be clear: no federal minister ever answers the phone of a National Assembly member. If that is the case, I shall not hesitate to resign from my position.
