At least 32 people, mostly women and children, have been killed in a strike on a UNRWA school in Nuseirat refugee camp, according to Palestinian authorities. Dozens more were injured in the strike on the Al Sardi boys preparatory school, which was sheltering hundreds of displaced people. Gaza’s government media office described the attack as a “horrific massacre” and denied Israeli claims Hamas militants were based in the compound.
