The death toll from Israeli air strikes in Gaza had risen to 32, the enclave’s Health Ministry said, three hours after a temporary truce between the militant group and Israel expired. Dozens of people, mostly women and children, were injured, ministry spokesman Ashraf Al Qudra said in a statement.
