Cyprus has sent 1,200 tonnes of aid to Gaza through Ashdod in Israel. The cargo was screened already and is to be transferred without additional security checks in Ashdod, before being distributed by World Central Kitchen, the Cyprus Foreign Ministry said. “The entire undertaking is under the auspices of the UN delivery mechanism,” it said.
