According to data from the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 7,048 additional Pakistanis tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning, bringing the country’s active cases above 100,000 for the third day in a row.

The additional infections were discovered after 61,077 diagnostic tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, putting Pakistan’s COVID-19 positivity ratio at 11.53 percent and confirmed case count at 1.425 million.

Meanwhile, 21 coronavirus patients died overnight, bringing the total number of people who have died from the virus to 29,269.
