According to statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Tuesday morning, Pakistan’s COVID-19 positive ratio plummeted to 5.4 percent in a single day as the country continues to experience an erratic graph.

According to the latest figures, just 2,597 out of 48,037 COVID-19 diagnostic tests performed in the previous 24 hours were positive, lowering the country’s positivity rate to 5.4 percent. However, the new cases brought the overall number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan to 1,488,958.
