The number of COVID-19 deaths in Pakistan reached 50 in the last four months, bringing the total death toll to 29,601, according to data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday morning.

On October 5, 2021, the country’s death toll peaked at this level.

The majority of deaths happened in Sindh and Punjab in the last 24 hours, with 24 people dying on a ventilator.
