On Monday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was told that Covid-19 and dengue fever were under control in the province, with only 390 active cases and 3,200 beds set aside for corona patients unoccupied.

Responding to an adjournment request by Rehana Ismail of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Minister for Information and Higher Education Kamran Bangash said the government had effectively managed the fourth wave of Covid-19 through a task force led by the chief minister.
