With a robot that injects a shot directly into the muscle without the use of a needle, a Canadian startup has made acquiring a COVID-19 vaccine considerably easier.

The Cobi robot, created at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, has completed the first autonomous robotic intramuscular injection, according to its creators.

Cobi uses a high-pressure serum jet that travels through a skin opening the width of a human hair.
