The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) has categorically denied a report by senior journalist Suhail Warraich claiming that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, made references to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) or its incarcerated founder, Imran Khan, during his recent visit to Brussels. DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry clarified that senior journalist Suhail Warraich fabricated a story for personal gain. He stated that Warraich attended a public event in Brussels, where hundreds of people took photographs with the Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir, but no mention of PTI or any apology was made.
