It is reported that the Indian sports minister Anurag Thakur said that the final decision of the Indian cricket team’s participation in the 2025 Champions Trophy in Pakistan would be made after checking out the “circumstances” before the tournament. The current situation in Pakistan was “not normal” and security remained a challenge that’s why many teams backed out lately, he added.
He declared, “security is the main challenge [in Pakistan], like teams have been attacked in the past, which is a concern. So when the time comes, the Indian government will make a decision depending on the circumstances then.”
