Chinese ambassador Nong Rong met Prime Minister Imran Khan and they discussed China-Pakistan bilateral relations, the progress of CPEC, vaccines, and mutual cooperation in other sectors. Ambassador Nong Rong conveyed greetings from President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang on Pakistan’s Independence Day. Talking about the regional situation, PM Khan said that Pakistan steadfastly supports efforts for a negotiated political settlement of the Afghan conflict.
