It was reported on Tuesday that China had also backed out of the moot just days after Pakistan declined to attend a regional security dialogue on Afghanistan hosted by India. ‘There are some “scheduling reasons” and “inconvenience” for Beijing to attend the meeting,’ cited Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin.
