Britney Spears expressed her gratitude to supporters who have been calling for big reforms in the conservatorship that has long governed her life and finances by using the hashtag #FreeBritney.

Spears’ tweets and Instagram posts on Monday were her first public comments on the matter since a judge removed her father as conservator of her estate last week, a move she had hoped for for a long time.

#FreeBritney movement … I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship … my life is now in that direction !!!!!” Spears said in the posts.
