Brazil has backed Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to help bridge differences between the United States and Iran, with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira commending Islamabad’s mediation role during a phone call with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. Vieira “commended Pakistan’s constructive role and efforts towards mediation in the US-Iran context, underscoring the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for global peace and security”, the Foreign Office said in a post on X.
