US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is now meeting Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv. They will also meet with the members of the war cabinet, Mr Netanyahu’s office said. Earlier on Friday, Mr. Blinken arrived in Israel on a trip he said was focused on measures to minimize harm to civilians in the war in Gaza.
