PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz stated on Thursday that it was better to leave the government than to burden the people with additional inflation, which she claimed had been worsened by the previous Imran Khan-led administration in the previous four years.

Maryam said it was easy for Nawaz to “prostrate before the IMF and consent” to the elimination of subsidies, which would lead to another bout of severe inflation, but “he (Nawaz) wants to surrender the task rather than burden people with a further price hike,” she said.
