Islamabad: On Wednesday, planning minister, Asad Umer, addressing a ceremony on the occasion of International Democracy Day, stated that Pakistan has a basic democratic structure; political parties are present here, elections are conducted, voting happens, members sit in assemblies, and pass bills, court, and media have freedom.
