According to DG ISPR, the Pakistan Army’s Urban Search and Rescue Team have departed Rawalpindi for Quetta. An urban rescue and search squad will participate in relief efforts.
According to the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department (ISPR), the Pakistan Army has arrived in the quake-affected regions of Harnai in Balochistan and has begun relief efforts. According to ISPR, Army doctors and paramedics supplied medical care, while the city administration also assisted with medical care. Army helicopters transported 9 wounded people to Quetta.
President Arif Alvi has offered his condolences for the loss of valuable lives and property in Balochistan as a result of the earthquake.
