On Wednesday, PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif said that the proposal of former CJP Gulzar Ahmed’s name for the office of the caretaker prime minister was a “blatant attempt to subvert the Constitution”. On the other hand, the Supreme Court has yet to decide on the rejection of the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan and the dissolution of the National Assembly.
