At least 50 Punjab University student activists were arrested by police after staging a protest outside the Department of Sports protesting student suspension.
Students gathered at the Department of Sports, according to Baaghi TV, to protest the suspension of several students and demand that the administration conduct examinations for them.
After the request was denied by the administration, more than 50 students organised a protest outside the department.
The administration summoned the cops after a fight broke out between protestors and the building’s security officers.
