Maryam Nawaz, a vice-president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, said on Thursday that the chief of army staff should be a competent individual with a “flawless” background so that people salute Pakistan’s armed services.

Maryam Nawaz accused the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for the delay in her case while speaking to press outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Pakistan’s military forces, according to Maryam, are recognised institutions. “The entire nation looks to the military forces for the country’s stability and security,” she insisted.
