Arab League urges US to force Israel to withdraw from Lebanon

Arab League assistant secretary general Hossam Zaki has said that the US should oblige Israel to implement a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and withdraw from Lebanese territories. Mr Zaki made his comments during a meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in Beirut, the Lebanese Presidency said in a post on X. He added that the Arab League joins the Lebanese leadership in demanding that the international community put pressure on Israel to withdraw from Lebanon and implement the ceasefire agreement.
