Arab, Islamic and European officials discussed the urgent need to end the war in Gaza and to take steps to implement the two-state solution in a meeting in Riyadh on Monday, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Foreign Minister of Norway Espen Barth Eide co-chaired the meeting between the Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab- Islamic Extraordinary Summit on Developments in the Gaza Strip and European Foreign Ministers and representatives, the ministry added in a statement.
