A young girl has died of starvation and dehydration in Gaza city, making her the 53rd victim of malnutrition in Gaza, medical sources said. Janan Al Skafi died at Al Rantisi Hospital, amid Israel’s total blockade on deliveries of food and other humanitarian supplies to the enclave since early March. “Approximately 60,000 children are suffering from symptoms of malnutrition due to the Israeli occupation’s tight blockade of the Gaza Strip, its closure of all crossings, and its prevention of the entry of basic materials and humanitarian aid, including food, water, medicine, and even fuel, for approximately 64 days,” the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
