We’ve heard from more civilians in Aleppo affected by the fighting between the army and the SDF. One man described people running for their lives when fighting first started earlier this week. “The situation was chaotic. Everyone was running [for their lives], children crying in panic in this cold weather and under heavy rain,” he told Al Jazeera. “You look at them, running for their life with whatever they could carry. Many of them are poor, destitute, cannot even afford a loaf of bread,” he added. Another man also described fleeing when the fighting broke out, and now worries for his goats that he had to leave behind.
