Al-Sharaa condemns Israel’s continued attacks on Syria

The Syrian president has condemned Israel’s attacks on his country saying that “there have been 500 air strikes, more than 1,200 incursions, and 300 detentions”. “This is at odds with the orientation we’re seeing at global level. It is reminiscent of an era that we thought was long gone,” al-Sharaa said. He called for the withdrawal of Israel and commitment to the 1974 agreement, saying “we reject Israeli attempts to impose a fait accompli. We reject their aggressions which undermines peace and security.”
