As the new Covid-19 strain Omicron spread throughout the globe, Pakistan added nine more countries to category C on Monday, largely from Europe, and enforced air travel restrictions.

The Netherlands, Hungary, Ukraine, Ireland, Slovenia, Poland, Croatia, Zimbabwe, and Vietnam are the countries involved.

On the other hand, 13 countries have been included in category B. They are the US, United Kingdom, Germany, Azerbaijan, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Russia, Thailand, France, Afghanistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Austria and Turkey. The remaining nations remain in category A.
