Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was on a US-made Bell 212 helicopter on Sunday when it crashed near the northwestern city of Tabriz, killing Raisi and his delegation that was coming back from Azerbaijan. Bell 212 helicopter which crashed in northern Iran, killing President Ebrahim Raisi and his delegation, is estimated to be at least 45 years old and Iran’s military reportedly has 10 of this type in its inventory.
