On Wednesday, in a press release, the Association of Electronic Media Editors & News Directors strongly condemned the language used and views expressed by Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Former Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid in a recently leaked audio. “AEMEND believes in independence of the media and rejects any disrespect of working journalists, whether by political parties or institutions for vested interests,” it stated.
