New chairman of Afghan Cricket Board (ACB), Azizullah Fazli told Reuters that he is devoted to promoting women’s game in the country. He is optimistic that afghan women will play the test match against Australian team in November. Australian cricket board has threatened to withdraw from the series if interim govt would ban women from playing cricket. He added that he has talked to them but the Taliban has not decided the fate of women’s game yet.
