Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called on the UN Security Council and the international community to put pressure on Israel to open all land crossings into the Gaza Strip and hand them over to the Palestinian government. Speaking at an emergency humanitarian conference for Gaza in the Dead Sea, Mr Abbas said that it is time to stop the genocide that “our people have been subjected to in Gaza for eight months, and what they are suffering in the West Bank Jerusalem, the crimes of the occupation and its terrorist settlers”.
