Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the construction of 10 new dams. PM announced that the Government had decided to build 10 dams, to enhance Pakistan’s water shortage capacity, create more resources and protect future generations in the process. Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of Tarbela Dam’s fifth Extension Hydropower project, PM Imran Khan said, “The Mohmand and Basha Dams will be constructed by 2025 and 2028 respectively”.
