Tarbela dam officials reported that although the water level of the reservoir of Tarbela dam has risen to 1,464.58 feet, the power generation capacity has been reduced to 2,220MW. Due to heavy rain flow, the water inflow increased to 221,000 cusecs but the outflow was 135,000 cusecs. Only 14 out of 17 power generation plants produced 2,220MW whereas the other 3 power generation plants were not working.
