Jessikah Inaba has made history by becoming the first blind, black female barrister in the UK. At just twenty-three, Inaba announced she had qualified for the Bar from UK. In an interview, Inaba said she hopes her trailblazing achievement will pave the way for more people from diverse backgrounds. “I know I can do this job well, and the more people like me who go through training the easier it will become,” she said, “I know I’m giving hope to others in similar situations”.
