Diyawadanage Don Nandasri Priyantha, a Sri Lankan factory manager who was killed by a mob in Sialkot on blasphemy charges, was shifted to Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport today to be transported to Colombo.

Officials from the Sri Lankan embassy arrived at the hospital to escor Kumara’s body to the airport, where they lay flowers on his body.

The body had been moved from Sialkot to Lahore, and Punjab Minister for Minorities Affairs Aijaz Alam stood in for Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, who had to leave for an important meeting in Islamabad.
