In order to prevent the new COVID-19 variant from entering Pakistan, the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) set further restrictions on inbound travellers on Monday.

Due to the new COVID-19 variation, the authority has added eight more nations to the list of countries whose citizens are not permitted to go to Pakistan.

Croatia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Ireland, Slovenia, Vietnam, Poland, South Africa, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia have been added to the updated Category C list.
