On climate change, Prime Minister’s Adviser Malik Amin Asim indicated that artificial rain could be used in Punjab next year to reduce the impact of smog, particularly in Lahore, which is the most smog-affected city.

He stated that the employment of technology is critical in dealing with the pollution problem. He went on to say, “We are currently working on this phenomenon.”

Transportation-related smoke was responsible for 40% of the pollution. To eliminate the source of smoke, the government is switching from Euro-II to Euro-V fuel.
