On Friday, it emerged that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman had a meeting to cover the gulf between both sides. He said that the reciprocal parliamentary action on accountability laws and electronic voting machines (EVMs) could yield further successes for the opposition. In April, PPP left the PDM in the wake of a show-cause notice being handed out to it for appointing Yousuf Raza Gilani as the opposition leader in the Senate.
