US President Donald Trump said Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis had asked Washington not to intervene, amid escalating tensions around the Red Sea. Trump said he expected the situation to remain stable after speaking with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Meanwhile, Yemeni government forces reported striking Houthi fighters in the strategic Red Sea port city of Mocha.
