Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate phone calls with Saudi and Turkish foreign ministers on Sunday to follow up on understandings reached under the Makkah Defence Alliance. The Foreign Office said discussions focused on strengthening defence cooperation, joint activities, technology development and regional stability. Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye had earlier agreed to enhance military coordination and cooperation following the alliance’s inaugural meeting in Istanbul.
